Convergent Learning Launches Learning Management System and eLearning Blog
Convergent Learning LLC, a San Francisco-based learning and training company, announced it is starting a Learning Management System and eLearning blog. This new blog will provide insight on learning questions with an emphasis on the techniques, technology and tools used to create effective solutions. Convergent Learning is offering this blog as a way to help organizations gain insight into the technical hurdles that too often plague learning solutions.
According to the company’s president, Michael Plocek, Convergent Learning realized that there was a lack of unbiased technical information available. "I hear a lot about learning solution implementation nightmares, but I don’t see the resources out there to help copmanies avoid those issues. I think part of that is because there is such a focus on the high level instructional design strategy. This emphasis, although essential, often prevents them from seeing the practical technical requirements to realize the instructional vision and this can have disastrous results. I see this blog as a way to help bridge this gap and help companies avoid some of the more common technical pitfalls."
The Convergent Learning LMS & eLearning blog will be updated several times a month and is accessible at http://blog.convergentlearning.com.
